I started collecting vintage glassware and Pyrex about 35 years ago. Today I keep most of the Pyrex I find and use it daily. I also just discovered Watertown Lifetime Ware, a strong well made Melmac. My pieces date to around 1949. I love it! My shop, Cate`s Back Porch is my selling blog. I try to keep homemade Authentic Vintage Aprons, Jewelry, China and Glassware on hand. I also have vintage needlework and craft supplies .

Catherine ~ I love the name! I started out as a "Pauper", that certainly is no longer the case. It truly becomes an addiction! When we go antiquing or junking, my husband reminds me about the number of spreads I have, but then when he finds one, he says "Honey, look, this one is pretty". When he went to Iowa, he found four of them and brought them back home on the plane. So, he too is addicted! Thank goodness, a girl can never have enough chenille!
